The Coating House Expands Its Commitment to Manufacturing Innovation Through MassMEP
Massachusetts Manufacturing Extension Partnership
East Longmeadow, MA – The Coating House (TCH), a leading provider of precision coating solutions for manufacturers across a wide range of industries, is proud to announce its membership with MassMEP (Massachusetts Manufacturing Extension Partnership), further strengthening the company’s commitment to continuous improvement, workforce development, and manufacturing innovation throughout the Commonwealth.
The Coating House & MassMEP Connection
As a company dedicated to delivering high-quality coating services while supporting the growth of U.S. manufacturing, TCH sees its partnership with MassMEP as an opportunity to connect with industry leaders, access valuable resources, and contribute to advancing the regional manufacturing community.
Owner Kim Casineau’s relationship with MassMEP began nearly eight years ago after meeting representatives Kristy and Hayley during a Women in Manufacturing (WiM) event and plant tour. After reconnecting several years later while seeking business guidance, Casineau has maintained regular contact with the organization through various manufacturing events across Massachusetts.
“When we met in May, they [MassMEP] presented the different services and the option levels,” said Casineau. “I felt it was a good investment for The Coating House.”
MassMEP’s mission to strengthen Massachusetts manufacturers through consulting, training, and strategic growth initiatives aligns closely with TCH’s focus on operational excellence and long-term business development. Through its membership, TCH gains access to expanded networking opportunities, educational resources, workforce development programs, and beneficial industry-specific training that they otherwise would not know exist.
As part of its new membership, TCH is preparing to participate in several upcoming MassMEP programs designed to help manufacturers navigate growth opportunities and industry challenges.
Pivot Ready Workshop
Casineau and intern, Lia Manoussoff, attended a two-day Pivot Ready Workshop, aimed at helping manufacturers prepare for strategic growth initiatives and future participation in the Transformative Development and Manufacturing Initiative (TDMI) process. The workshop was designed to provide organizations with practical tools and planning strategies that support long-term business expansion and operational readiness. Both Casineau and Manoussoff found the workshop to be very informative and collaborative.
Executive Roundtable
In addition, Casineau participated in her first Executive Roundtable, a collaborative discussion bringing together local manufacturing CEOs and executive leaders, hosted by McGill Hose and Coupling.
“Our conversations focused on the challenges, opportunities, and trends affecting manufacturers. I found it incredibly valuable to meet other local manufacturers and participate in these discussions,” Casineau noted.
MassMEP Membership
TCH’s investment in MassMEP membership reflects the company’s ongoing commitment to innovation, workforce engagement, and supporting a stronger manufacturing system throughout Massachusetts. By participating with MassMEP, TCH continues to position itself as a forward-thinking manufacturer dedicated to both customer success, industry advancement, and employee growth.
