Our Story
Founded in 1980 in Connecticut, The Coating House has grown from a small operation into a trusted and certified fastener-hardware provider serving customers across the country. Located in East Longmeadow, MA since 2005, we’ve built a reputation for precision, reliability, and continuous innovation in pre-applied adhesive coatings and custom fastener services.
Since President Kim Casineau took ownership in 2016, The Coating House has undergone a complete transformation, growing from three to twenty experienced employees, modernizing operations, committing to quality standard certifications, and adopting inovative technologies to enhance quality and efficiency. Under Casineau’s leadership, the company is also undergoing a facility expansion to better meet growing customer needs, growing its facility footprint from 2,800 to 8,000 square feet, expanding the manufacturing floor to accommodate new, cutting-edge equipment.
What We Do
The Coating House, centrally located in New England, is the only Henkel Loctite Pre-Applied Service Center on the Atlantic Coast, and is capable of shipping parts globally to meet our customers’ needs. We are a 100% women-owned small business and our growing team of industry experts has the knowledge to provide the right high-quality components for your application needs.
The Coating House specializes in providing uncoated fasteners, custom fasteners, and PAAC’D® (Pre-Applied Adhesive-Coated) fasteners. Our proprietary PAAC’D process enhances fastener performance and efficiency by eliminating the need for manual application of thread lockers or sealants during assembly.
In addition to the fastener products we offer, we provide comprehensive secondary services including:
