At The Coating House, we are proud of the products we deliver, but what truly sets us apart is our people and their commitment to both professional growth and community involvement.

Celebrating Excellence at the Coating House 2

Our General Manager, Harley, embodies this spirit. Since day one, Harley has approached every challenge with dedication, insight, and initiative. We believe leadership is a journey of continuous growth, learning, and self-reflection. At The Coating House, we actively encourage and invest in our team. When we recognized Harley’s passion for development, we were thrilled to support him, fostering a culture where learning and leadership flourish.

This spring, Harley Kata completed the 2025 Leadership Institute through the Springfield Regional Chamber at Western New England University. This program unites rising leaders from Western Massachusetts to strengthen their management abilities, expand their understanding of community leadership, and build lasting professional relationships. It’s a rigorous, respected, and invaluable experience for participants and the organizations they lead.

Please join me in congratulating Harley on this important milestone. We can’t wait to see what his next chapter of leadership brings, not only to The Coating House, but to our community.

    She shared:

“Technology has evolved in our company. When I first bought the company 7.5 years ago we were just doing email…it has morphed into a necessity we cannot do without. We want the partners we work with at the forefront in their game, so we can continue to provide a secure service to our customers and Synagex is. They are a comprehensive company that has simplified our business! Their service truly sets them apart, and we are so happy they are our partner.”

The Coating House hosted our inaugural YWCA Western Massachusetts Golf Tournament on Monday, May 6th, 2024. We had a great turnout and raised over $32,000 for our initiatives.

Proceeds benefited the H.E.R.E. and CWWV Programs. The Children Who Witness Violence program offers therapy for children who have witnessed or experienced abuse and violence. The Healthy and Empowering Relationship Education program of the YWCA helps Springfield middle- and high-schoolers learn about healthy relationships and friendships.

  4. The Coating House’s Attends Design-2-Part Show 2024 at Mohegan Sun – April 24 & 25, 2024

The Coating House recently had the privilege of attending the Design-2-Part Show held at the Mohegan Sun Exposition Center in Uncasville, CT. This annual event, now in its third year at this location, stands as the region’s largest design and contract manufacturing trade show.

For businesses like ours, providing specialized coated and uncoated fasteners and fittings, attending such shows is not just an opportunity but a necessity to stay abreast of industry trends, connect with peers, and explore potential collaborations.

One of the most rewarding aspects of the Design-2-Part Show was the chance to reconnect with old friends and partners. These familiar faces brought a sense of camaraderie to the event, reminding us of the strong relationships that underpin the manufacturing community.

Equally exciting was the opportunity to forge new connections. The show boasted 240 American suppliers showcasing their expertise in custom parts, stock parts, and manufacturing services. From design and prototypes to production, finishing, and assemblies, the array of offerings was impressive.

One thing that sets this show apart-it focuses on American suppliers. In an era where supply chain resilience is paramount, being able to engage with businesses like us – local manufacturers who can mitigate risks, shorten lead times, and ensure timely delivery of parts is invaluable.

In conclusion, our experience at the Design-2-Part Show 2024 was enriching. It reinforced the importance of industry events in fostering collaboration, innovation, and growth within the manufacturing sector. We look forward to implementing the insights gained and nurturing the relationships established for mutual success in the future.
